Pumpkinfest 2025

What a fantastic run! The 2025 Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta was a resounding success, and we at Colby & Gale were incredibly proud to stand as a major sponsor of this beloved community tradition.

From the first massive weigh-ins on October 4th and 5th to the exhilarating Pumpkinboat Regatta on the 12th and the final grand drop on the 13th, the Twin Villages were absolutely buzzing. The creativity and community spirit on display were truly inspiring!

Highlights We Loved:

• The Amazing Art: Watching the giant gourds transform into incredible works of art lining Main Street is always a highlight.
• The Regatta Thrills: The hilarious sight of those giant pumpkins—some motorized, some paddled—racing across the Damariscotta River is why we love this event.
• Community Engagement: Seeing our customers, friends, and staff enjoying the parade, the pie contest, and the fun is the best part of being local.
• Pumpkin Parade: Seeing all the local business participate in showcasing their floats and decorations as they paraded down downtown Damariscotta.
• Giant Pumpkin Drop: The exciting event where a giant pumpkin was dropped on our service truck!
